The Toronto Maple Leafs have recalled forward Benoit-Olivier Groulx from the AHL’s Toronto Marlies.
Groulx, 26, signed a one-year contract with the Leafs after being drafted by Anaheim in 2018.
He has played 65 NHL games, recording one goal and five points.
Groulx leads the Marlies in scoring with 27 goals and 50 points in 54 games.
The Leafs are currently missing three regular forwards due to trades, creating an opportunity for Groulx.
It is unclear if Groulx will play in Tuesday night’s game against the Montreal Canadiens.
