AFC Toronto Signs League1’s Jade Kovacevic as First Player

AFC Toronto has signed Jade Kovacevic, League1 Ontario’s all-time leading goal scorer, as their first-ever player.

Kovacevic brings extensive experience from domestic and international play, including representing Canada in the U17 and U20 World Cups.
She holds the all-time League1 Ontario goal-scoring record (men and women) with over 170 goals.
Kovacevic has played professionally in Italy and Hungary, achieving top scorer status with Roma Calcio Femminile.
She expressed excitement about the Northern Super League providing a pathway for women’s soccer players to stay and thrive in Canada.
AFC Toronto views Kovacevic’s leadership and goal-scoring ability as crucial for establishing the team’s presence in the league.
