AFC Toronto Signs Former Canadian Youth National Team Player Kaela Hansen

AFC Toronto signs Kaela Hansen, a former Canadian Women’s Youth National Team defender, for their inaugural 2025 season.
Hansen brings international experience, having played in the FIFA U-17 World Cup and the Three-Nations Tournament.
She has played professionally in Europe, winning titles in Serbia and earning a silver medal in Finland, also competing in the UEFA Women’s Champions League qualification phases.
Hansen was a standout player at the University of Kansas, setting program records and earning Defensive MVP honors.
She is the sixth official signing for AFC Toronto, joining a growing roster as the team prepares for its debut season.
