Prospect Spotlight: Nick Moldenhauer Kicks Off TLN’s Top 20 Rankings

The Leafs Nation (TLN) has officially launched their 2026 prospect rankings, with Mississauga native Nick Moldenhauer debuting at the #20 spot.
Moldenhauer is coming off his most productive NCAA season to date, recording 31 points in 40 games for the University of Michigan.
The 22-year-old winger played a key role in Michigan’s run to the Frozen Four, showcasing improved playmaking and hockey IQ.
Despite a slight dip in his ranking from last year, analysts attribute this to the overall increased depth and strength of the Maple Leafs’ prospect pool.
Heading into his next collegiate season as an assistant captain, Moldenhauer remains a candidate to potentially jump to the AHL’s Toronto Marlies following training camp.
