- Kolankowski, an Etobicoke native and former York University Lion, returns to Toronto after three seasons with the club from 2016-2018
- The two-time Grey Cup champion brings extensive CFL experience with 103 regular-season games, five playoff appearances, and five Grey Cup appearances across his career
- Kolankowski won a Grey Cup with Toronto in 2017 and most recently played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (2021-2025), where he won another championship in 2021
- The veteran lineman appeared in eight games for Hamilton in 2026 before the trade
- The Argonauts also announced the release of Canadian OL Keegan O’Neil as part of roster adjustments
